Land suitability evaluation is part of the land use planning process that will be used for sugar cane plantation land use types. This research was conducted in the Kulonprogo area to determine the level of land suitability for sugarcane and to evaluate the level of land suitability for sugarcane. This research method uses a survey method and analyzes the matching method, which compares the field data with the data classification criteria of land suitability of sugarcane. The parameters observed were CEC, pH, BO, N available, P available, and K available. The results of this study indicate that of the three observation locations there are still factors limiting the land suitability class S3 (marginal according).
